Henko-Flowers Indian Film Awards Distributed: Winners List

Newly launched Malayalam General entertainment channel Flowers T V which is just one year old, has created a record by identifying, announcing and distributing 1st Flowers Indian Film Awards 2016 on 29th April, 2016 (Friday) evening at Sharjah Cricket stadium, UAE, in a spectacular and star-studded event. The colourful show was attended by about 300 guests and thousands of movie lovers mostly non-resident Keralites and NRIs.

According to the claims of the channel people, it is for the first time a local channel showing enough courage to declare film awards in a national level covering a wide range of movies form different languages. They also boast that these awards are chosen and given away impartially from the films belonging to Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. However more opinions of the people about this Flowers TV's first Indian film awards are yet to to be expressed later.

Some celebrities hailing from all these languages participated in the award distribution ceremony but the majority were from Malayalam film industry. As expected movies from all these languages were included in the winners list. 

The jury was headed by Hariharan

46th Kerala State Film Awards 2015 (2016) Winners list

It is awards season in Kerala. Awards are raining on Film and Television artists. Leading television channel like Asianet and Popular Malayalam Magazine Vantha have given away awards to most film personalities recently. Now Kerala Chalachitra Academy the body by the State Government of Kerala that supervises the matters related to the film and TV, has announced the official state film awards to all those movie personalties considering their contribution to the Malayalam film industry in 2015.

This list for awards is adjudged, finalised and declared from a total of 73 films that were considered for the awards. The jury was headed by movie director Mohan. Superstar Mammootty for his super-hit performance in film 'Pathemary', hero Prithviraj who bagged the recent awards for his stunning actions in 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' and Upcoing hero Jaya Surya for his actions in 'Kumbasaram, Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam etc were considered as the front runners until the official announcement came.

For best actress title, the names of new generation actress Parvathy and popular heroins Amala Paul, Manju Warrier, Reema Kallingal etc were on top. And for best movie 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' by R S Vimal, 'Pathemari' by Salim Ahamed, 'Mili' by Rajesh pillai and 'Valiya Chirakulla Pakshikal' by Dr Biju were in the final rounds. 

Though the above were the final stage of guess work, the results announced at noon has surpassed all the speculations.

'Charlie' movie by Martin Prakkat has topped among all films of 2015 with as many as 8 state awards. 'Ozhivu Divasathe Kali' by Sanal kumar is selected as the best Malayalam movie of 2015

TSR TV9 National Film Awards 2013, 2014 Declared: 'Best' Winners List

The prestigious National movie awards by T Subbarama Reddy’s ‘TSR Lalitha Kala Parishat’ in association with popular Telugu News channel TV9 for the years 2013 and 2014 are declared as per the schedule announced earlier. The awards are instituted by T S R Reddy to extend encouragement and support to the film artists and the best actor, best actress, best hero, best heroine, best movie, best film director, best music director, best singer, best producer and special jury awards were selected by popular votes through SMS by movie-lovers.

According to T Subbarami Reddy, TSR TV9 National film award is the first of its kind in the country to honour  film artists belonging to 7 languages in India by giving them awards in recognition to their contribution in the fields of arts and culture. Beside Telugu language films, awards are given to movie artists and personalities of  Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Punjabi also.

The award winners who are selected carefully by the jury, balancing the wishes of the fans without disappointing anyone, are to be given away in the colorful mega event to be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on July 19, 2015 evening at 5.00 pm onward. The grand award distribution festival can be watched live on TV9.
