Who will be the Next Prime Minister of India in 2019

As the time for the 2019 general elections in India is approaching fast, it has become the talk of the town and the most important matter of concern for the majority of population. People of not only India but also many other countries are closely watching the developments and waiting eagerly and anxiously for the outcome of Indian elections. The following are the common questions raised by the citizens of the country wherever they gather. Which political party will win more seats in the next general elections in 2019 and form the government in the center? Who will be the head of the next council of union ministers in Delhi? Who will be the next Prime Minister of India? Will it be Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi or a lucky person belonging to a less significant party supported by the united opposition?

India has witnessed many untoward incidents after Narendra Modi became the prime minister of India in 2014. The world has seen the law and order being handled by certain groups of people in India who belong to some right wing terrorist organizations of which even Narandra Modi was said to be an ardent member in the past. Many Indians feel that they have an actor prime minister who never acts sternly on these antisocial elements but often seen lamenting only during elections. Many concerned citizens of the country are of the opinion and are worried that the foundations of our constitution will be in great danger if things continue like this for some more time.

Many people are of the opinion that we have a government at the center that exists on self promotion and propaganda. People say that Narendra Modi came to power in 2014 by appointing several social media agencies that gave wide inflated and exaggerated coverage about Modi, Modi and Modi. As per the opinion of people, some corporate companies who got benefited greatly (or got assurance) from Modi's rule spent huge amounts for this social propaganda activities. Even senior leaders like Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, and many others of BJP and some alliance partners of the NDA like Shiv Sena, share the same feelings and opinions.

On the other side, the twosome Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, who are mocked and termed as "one-man show and two-man army" by none other than BJP's own M.P. Satrughan Sinha, are having overconfidence to turn things in their favor by hook or crook. They will use all their powers (and of the government departments) and resources to retain power in the center to accomplish their agenda which they could not complete fully, due to lack of majority in the upper house of the parliament and wide discontent from all quarters.

The incumbent Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi is well known for his intolerance and 'special skill' in cornering leaders and persons who hold different views or opinions. By using the machinery of the state, he keeps many opposition leaders' mouth shut. The number of journalists, writers, thinkers and bloggers killed during his rule is similar to that of some erstwhile dictators' rule.

There is a talk about the opposition unity in India. But it appears nearly possible to materialize as the heads of each party (whether big or small or with one M P or many) dreams big for the top seat. While Rahul Gandhi is the Congress Party's candidate for the prime ministers post, leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Mayavathy, Sharat Pawar, Chandra Babu Naidu, K Chandra Sekhara Rao, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, (and who not?) keep an eye on the top job. As Nitish Kumar who was a probable (more accepted) choice for the opposition's representative and to become the prime minister missed it by jumping over the other side.

Though it is not the right time to predict the outcome of the 2019 general elections, there is no wrong in guessing things, even though anything may happen anytime.

Debate: Whether Liquor should be Totally Banned in Kerala?

The battle between the supporters of liquor mafia and those against it in Kerala aka God's own country which started some months ago, is increasing day-by-day and the debate is becoming more serious with more people and communities joining the 'anti-liquor' crusade each day.

From the beginning, the Kerala Pradesh Congress Chief V.M Sudheeran was against the renewal of the bars that are closed. He has been advocating for a step-by-step of liquor ban in Kerala.

But the Chief minister Oommen Chandy who was strongly backing the excise minister K. Babu who wanted to re-open the closed bars, is slowly withdrawing as more and more partners of the UDF including the Kerala Congress (M) and the IUML have openly supported the PCC chief's stand for a total and permanant prohibition in the state.

The Catholic Church which is very prominent in Kerala has also raised its voice for total ban of liquor in Kerala.

People's Opinion on 'TIME MAGAZINE's report on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh

Dr Manmohan Singh who is serving as the Prime minister India for second term, was exalted once by most of the people of the country as one of the key  persons mainly responsible for the growth of the country. But after assuming office as the Prime Minister of India, his inactive performance many a times, made the common people wonder how a person like Dr Manmohan Singh keep quiet and take passive steps as a silent spectator when the country was struggling under many burning issues like huge scams and massive corruption...!

At an appropriate time, the world famous 'TIME MAGAZINE' is coming out with a report on Mr Manmohan Singh terming his as an underachiever...! It is a terrible shock for all who revered him as a man of great knowledge and values across political lines. Not only the people of the country, but also around the globe he used to enjoy a honorable stature. And he has pledged his honor to the coalition partners and other leaders in the ruling Congress party.

The severe hot climate and electricity shortage: The Government of Andhra Pradesh is anti-people...?

The average temperature in most states in India are very high expect fro Kerala, Himalayan states and the North Eastern states. Most Indian states are recording record temperature which very unbearable. It is not possible for any government or leaders to stop the wrath of God - the severe, boiling heat...!

But the government (leaders and ministers) which has taken oath to protect the lives and properties of the people entrusted to it care, has a responsibility to take adequate steps to atleast provide uninterrupted electricity power to the people particularly in such extreme climatic conditions.

The Government of Andhra pradesh is facing the ire of the people in many issues specially for failing to supply power when it is most needed. Many people are wondering and asking whether there is a government at all in Andhra Pradesh. Most of the Ministers and leaders are spending all their time and efforts to take revenge on their political rivals and to save their chairs. No one is seemed to be involved in any welfare activities or projects. Even the people who backed and supported the Congress Party for decades are mourning grievously ... seeing the anti-people policies of those rulers whom they voted and gave power.

Petrol Price steep hike - all parties condemn strongly and planning National agitations

The steepest petrol price hike in the country made yesterday by the petroleum companies, which is considered by all as a severe blow to the average common man, there is wide disagreement among all the political parties including the Congress Party. It is very ironical for the ruling Congress Party to deny any knowledge of the hike and immediately summoned back the petroleum minister who was on foreign tour.

Jaypal Reddy, the petroleum minister who hurried back to the country has ruled out any immediate possibility of roll back of petrol price. This has terribly disappointed the people of the country. And in the coming days they are going to engage in Bundhs and rastra rokos to register their protest.

Yesterday's price hike has once again made the people hate the party that rules the country. They opine and cry a party which cannot control price hikes, which cannot curb corruption and help the ordinary people, it has no moral right to continue in power. Such things are considered as a terrible setback to the party/parties which is going to the by polls next month.
