Asianet Television Awards 2015 Winners: Watch Show Online:


Even though most of the present serials being aired on Malayalam's grand entertainment channel Asianet are good for nothing, they have some dedicated viewers who are mostly elderly people that are addicted to their favorite channel rather than the shows and do not dare to shift to another channel.

However Asianet has wisely selected almost all the serials and characters and have given them one award or the other as the best actor, actress, directors, popular, etc and have given them prizes in the ceremony that was held in Angamaly last month. The same show will be telecast in Asianet G E Channel on 2015 June 6th and 7th (Saturday and Sunday) evening 7 pm onward.

As usual the award distribution function was attended by many celebrities including Mammootty and Jayaram. Comedy and dance shows were enacted to entertain the audience.

Chandralekha of Adoor, Kerala becomes a popular 'Cine Play back singer'

"Onnu Randu Dinam Kondoruthane .... Thandiletti Nadathunnathum Bhavan"...!


Chandralekha, a normal poor mother and a house wife belonging to Adoor of Pathanamthitta in Kerala becomes a popular celebrity within a couple of days and makes the old saying above very meaningful with her God-given talent to sing....!

It all happened just as a miracle. As usual she sang in her kitchen, holding her son in her arms. Her brother copied the song on his mobile phone and uploaded it on the 'youtube' which changed the fate of Chandralekha and rose her to the level of a playback singer, making popular Malayalam movie producers, directors and music composers queue up in her house.

Today, Chandralekha, who won the hearts of thousands of people with her sweet voice, performed her debute song for a movie.

Video: Mega Oppana Performed by 121 Malayali Girls in Kasargode to get listed in Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book

Some 121 girls of Kasargde in the Malabar area of Kerala set a historical record today by performing a Mega Oppana Program. The first of its kind show ever held by such a big group is aiming to enter the Limca Book of Records and the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records.

According to the Organizers, the mega event became a reality with the active support and cooperation of the entire people of the area. The expenses amounting to Rs.2 lakhs was donated by the public people.

Oppana, a traditional Malayalam song with dance is performed during Muslim Marriages in Kerala, particularly in the Malabar region of Kerala State which is in the northern part of Kerala.
