Liquor Mafia sells alcohol above MRP rates again in Andhra Pradesh

The latest news aired just now in Leading Telugu News channel TV9 about the rise of liquor mafia in some parts of the new Andhra Pradesh state particularly in Ananthapuram is confirming the recent rumor being spread among the people that the ruling Telugu Desam Party has indirectly given a  nod to all its party workers and cadres to make money by hook or crook!

The previous Congress led Government (which ruled for two consecutive terms) could not win even one single seat anywhere in Andhra Pradesh in the past elections due to many reasons, one of them is the 'liquor mafia' led by its then APCC president and excise minister Botcha Satyanarayana and his huge scams related to IMFL and wine shops.

It was earlier reported here about the way how the liquor bottles were sold above the MRP rates in Andhra Pradesh state in 2011 according to the whims and fancies of the wine shop owners at alcohol outlets.

Please refer to our earlier posts about that:

And at last the High Court of Andhra Pradesh had to interfere in this matter and direct the liquor syndicate mafia to sell all the brewed spirit at the MRP printed on the bottles.

If any persons, parties or governments which came to power by offering many false promises to the voters and once grabbing power think that they cannot be touched, they are wrong. The power of the voters NOW is not NOT as it used to be earlier.

powerful Mafias are ruling the country...! They are a serious threat than terrorists.

The gruesome killing of the young and duty-minded IPS officer narendra Kumar Singh, in Madhya Pradesh state of India, by the strong sand mining mafia has literally shocked the entire people of the Nation, as this incident indicates that the mafia is strong enough to challenge even the Government of India.

The country is passing through very difficult situations as there are many mafias that have become a real threat to the government. In the past people heard of goonda mafias and smuggling mafias only in some metropolitan cities like Mumbai. Nowadays there are many dangerous mafias that have grown too strong to be controlled even by the government. Most of these mafias are backed by powerful politicians ranking from ministers, MPs, MLAs, party secretaries, and Top officials of many departments including the police and the judiciary.

The guts of the tractor trolley driver to run the vehicle deliberately on the IPS officer, is not a simple matter to be left. This incident shows that the driver has strong and politically and financially influential people behind him, who might have offered him to extend any help and support to finish anyone who comes on their way. The popular public opinion is that all the mafia must be brought before the law and punished stringently, without any partiality or parochial feelings.

There are also liquor mafias that never cared to follow the Order of the Honorable High Court of Andhra Pradesh. Mining Mafias in some states are capable of waging a war against the system. Real Estate mafia also is active in the news with their adventures.

If all the political parties who really love the country (Are there any...?), keep aside their differences and eliminate the wicked and rouges for the political system only, our country will be really free. Ordinary People  are concerned whether the great country India, that got freedom through the sacrifices of many great souls... will ever be free from those who are saying they love India and work against the welfare of it, and thus act us anti-Indians...!!!

Andhra Pradesh's liquor mafia and A.P.'s Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB)

There are various Government departments and organizations functioning in India. But people are not aware of many until and unless they effectively discharge their duties and responsibilities efficiently. To effectively discharge the duties with out any fear or favour, the heads of those departments need to be fearless, truthful, duty-minded  and above all corrupt-free.

Until Mr T.N. Sheshan took charge as the Chief Election Commission of India a decade ago, most people of the country never knew that such an important institution existed in India and the powers and responsibilities vested with that particular Commission.

The recent performance of the 'Anti-Corruption Bureau' in the state on the 'liquor syndicate mafia' is quite appreciable and welcomed by one and all. The liquor syndicate mafia of A.P., that willfully and deliberately defied the High Court's order and the government of A.P was miserably unable to control them and failed. The government and its leader the Chief Minister were severely criticized by most people for their inability to implement the Court's directions and to come to the rescue of the people of the state.

It was at this juncture, the ACB (Anti- Corruption Bureau) came to the spot light. The ACB started raiding and hunting the mafia mercilessly. Many big sharks were caught in the ACB's net and those liquor mafia who vowed    publicly that they would never obey any court orders or rules, started to surrender before the ACB's whip. At last they bowed down and agreed to sell liquor at the 'maximum retail price'.

People are eager to know who are all behind this courageous adventure. Hats off to Mr.D.Boobathi Babu, IPS (Director General ACB), Satyanarayan,IPS (Director ACB), and all the additional and joint directors, DSPs, Inspectors and sincere personnel of the ACB. It is the popular people's opinion and wish that all the dipartments take the ACB as an example do their legitimate duties with out fear or favour, they will be real heroes in the minds of people.

Congratulations to all Sincere officers of of all departments of Andhra Pradesh in particular and India in General.

Please post a word of wishes for all honest and good officers who work for us.

Selling Liquor Above MRP Rates in Andhra Pradesh and other States of India...!

There are several cells and Organization in India to protect and safe-guard the interest of consumers. Periodically huge advertisements are displayed in print and electronic media to create awareness among the consumers and advising them to bargain and buy products less than the 'Maximum Retail Price' (MRP) printed on the goods and products.

Contrary to this, the 'Indian made foreign liquor' shops in A.P. State ridiculously sell all liquor items much above the MRP labels, without any fear or respect to the law of the land.

All the Government Departments and machinery concerned are afraid of these 'liquor syndicate mafia' so that they are unable to lift even a small finger against them, as they are guarded by all political parties, as all these parties have a common agenda in this regard only, as they all get their share of the loot.

What is your opinion ...?
