Andhra Pradesh Exempted from NEET for two years...!

There is a lot of relief among the MBBS aspirants form Andhra Pradesh State of India during the academic years of 2011 - 2012 and 2012 - 2013, as the health Minister of India Mr Gulam Nabi Azad concedes to the request of the A.P. Chief Minister Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy to postpone the implementation of NEET (National Eligibility and Entrance test) purported for the eligibility for MBBS admission in the country.

When the MCI recently announced the strict implementation of the test from 2012 itself, there was a lot of fear and concern among the students as there is a lot of difference in the syllabus followed in different states and center. Hence the CM took the issue to the notice of the Central Government, who responded briskly and favorably thus bringing huge relief to the student community in a whole.

This is widely accepted as a good news by the majority of people who expressed their happiness.

  2. Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate has decided to change the syllabus immediately to comply with the National level standard of CBSE and ICSE. The syllabus for the first year Inter will be changed during the academic year 2012-2013 and the second year in 2013-14. The authorities are thus expecting to raise the standards of the Andhra students and make them appear without any fear for the NEET after 2 years.
