The Official Notification for the CAT (Common Admission Test) 2015 is published by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) yesterday. With this a clear picture is available about the exam schedule and complete information on the conduct of the CAT entrance exams which is a much anticipated and prestigious prerequisite test for the aspirants for Business Management Post graduate admission in the 19 Central Government Institutes in India.
As per the official Notifications, the ONLINE Registration link appears in the official website of the IIM-CAT from 6th August, 2015 and closes on 20th September, 2015. An ONLINE digital exam known as Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted on November 29th, 2015 in all the 136 exam centers in two sessions.
Eligibility to appear for CAT test:
To Register for CAT, Applicants must have passed a bachelor's degree with minimum 50 percent marks from an institution / university recognized by the HRD Ministry of government of India. (Special reservations are available for SC, ST, DA etc.)
Age:
There is NO age limit prescribed for appearing in the CAT exam.
Registration:
Candidates can register online through the Registration link that remains Opens on 6th August, 2015 and Closes on 20th September, 2015 on the official website of IIM CAT.

Admit Card:
Admit card for the entrance exams can be downloaded from 15th October onwards.
CAT 2015 Results and Scores:
The Results of the CAT 2015 will be declared in January 2016 and the scores of the candidates will be published on the Official Website and can be checked till 31st December 2016.
The admission process will begin after this.

The candidates, not shortlisted in CAT 2015 can apply for CAT 2016. It is assumed that IIM Bangalore will conduct CAT 2016.
