Rev Sr Sonia Theres Mathirappallil is a Catholic Nun belonging to the DSJ (Daughters of St Joseph) Congregation, residing now in Italy. Along with her other Religious activities, Sister Sonia also uses efficiently the social media portals like facebook, youtube, personal blogs etc to defend the Catholic Christian Church and Her Faithful particularly the Priests and Nuns who are often attacked falsely and brutally by the print, electronic, and other channels that are owned and operated by satanic agents.
Rev Sr Sonia has been very vibrant on Social Media platforms with her mission for the past few years. Her recent facebook posts gently making fun of some of Kerala's self-appointed media judges like asianet's vinu v john and mathrubhoomi's reporters have gone viral and most people of the state have been extending their support to her.
With her voice for the Church, Priests, and Nuns resounding the social media platforms, people started searching google to know who she was and how she became a Nun!
Sonia Kuruvilla was a student of Mount Calvary High School in Idukki of Kerala in India. During her school days, she was very active in sports and won many medals for her school. According to her physical education teacher, Sonia was a National Champion in athletics and had she continued in the same field, she would have out beaten olympian Preeja Sreedharan (who was always second to Sonia Kuruvilla while in School) and become an Olympic gold medalist herself!
When National sports Champion Sonia Kuruvilla attained her adulthood she received a rare Calling from Her Divine Master Jesus Christ and she immediately decided to throw away all the name and fame that was surrounding her as 'refuse' and decided to accept the extraordinary Call from the Lord to become a Nun. She did so because she was wise enough to realize that the Calling from Heaven is far superior to any worldly riches, name or fame.
Today Rev Sr Sonia Teres DSJ is serving the Lord very gladly, sincerely, and loyally. She has pledged her life for the sake of God and His less fortunate children. She is also using all her knowledge, skills, and talents to defend and safeguard the Church and Her children from the forces of the netherworld.
