TSR-TV9 National Film Awards Ceremony 2015 on July 19 @ Hyderabad

TSR-TV9 National film awards were instituted by T Subba Rami Reddy, a noted industrialist, politician and a philanthropist in Andhra Pradesh under the banner 'T Subbarami Reddy Lalita Kala Parishat' in 2010 with an aim to encourage film and art in the Telugu speaking states. The media partner of this prestigious venture is popular Telugu news channel TV9. This year the awards are distributed in different categories for two years ie 2013 and 2014.

Nominations for various categories like the best film actor, best film heroine, best movie director, best music director etc are held and they are chosen by popular votes through SMS and online forums. People can vote for their favorite actor / actress in the form of SMS till 15th of July, 2015 and select the person of their choice. The winners in each category will be declared on July 17 and the awards will be given away in the mega colorful award distribution ceremony which is to be held in 'Shilpa Kala Vedika' in Hyderabad on July 19. 

The board of jury for deciding the awards include yesteryear actors Jamuna, Jayapradha, Suman, Jeevitha Rajasekhar, Pinky Reddy, Sangeetha Reddy and noted movie director Kodandarami Reddy etc.

Leading celebrities of National fame like Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, Rishi Kapoor, Ramesh Sippi, Shakti Kapoor, Silpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Padmini, Chiranjeevi, Jaya Pradha, Jaya Sudha etc are expected to grace the mega event with their presence.

The Nursing and mid-wife's Council of the Government of Andhra Pradesh has made ONLINE the Registration and Renewal of the GNM, B SC (Nursing) and M Sc (Nursing) Certificates.

This has become a boon to the numerous Nurses from other Southern States like Kerala, Tamil Nadu and the North Eastern States like Manipur Mizoram, Nagaland etc. who have studied in General and B Sc Nursing institutions in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana.

Through this program, a person is supposed to take a bowl full of rice and pour it not on the head of a needy person, but in his empty bawl and thus help him fill his (his family's) stomach alt-east for some time.

The founder of this activity which is becoming a great movement online and offline, claims that Ice Bucket challenge is a huge waste of water and Rice Bucket Challenge is an immediate assistance to the needy poor in and around one's neighborhood.
