Flowers TV channel which has been test transmitted successfully for the last many days is going on air as a full time 24x7 entertainment channel right now at Bristow Grounds, Wellington islands of Kochi in Kerala. It is another new entertainment channel in Malayalam language eagerly awaited by the local and global Malayalee community. 

Flowers TV is a coveted project of Insight Media, which has been set up as the 3rd of its type in the entire world and first of its kind in India. Insight media is expected to become a center for media studies in the years to come. As the number of drug related cases such as the sale and use of prohibited drugs are increasing uncontrollably, the Kochi Police wing of the Kerala Police have launched a helpline number with a strong determination to weed out the drug menace from the society.

If anyone finds or gets any information on the use or sale or smoking parties or rav parties, he / she can immediately call to this number and the callers identity will be kept secretly by the police.

This move of the police department is a highly commendable and let all the responsible citizens of the country extend their co-operation to the police for the welfare and benefit of our dear ones who are or may become addicted to drug use.

There is a good news for the fans of Mohanlal. 'Lalisom', the much awaited musical band has made its official declaration and launching in Kochi by the super star Mohanlal himself along with Satheesh Vega, a popular cine music director.

Mazhavil Azhakil Amma 2013: Live Mega Show in Sharjah. Mammootty (Thekkethala) vs Mohanlal (Vadakkethala)

Mazhavillazhakil Amma, the super mega stage show by AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) and Mazhvil Manorama has started in Sharjah Cricket Stadium on April 5th 2013 in a spectacular and colorful show.

This is the first time in the history of Malayalam film industry, a mega stage show by AMMA to be held in another country in such a large scale.

All the leading heroes, heroins and other artists are performing live before the audience. The highlight of the program is the performance of the Megastars Mammootty vs Mohanlal as Thekkethala vs Vadakkethala in a comedy skit. 

This mega comedy festival is to be reenacted in Kochi (Ernakulam) later. No doubt it is a delicious feast for the eyes and ears of the people.

Indonesian Earth Quakes and Fresh latest Tsunami warnings April 11, 2012.

Panic stricken Indonesian people 

The two earth quakes that hit Indonesia few hours ago with a gap of two hours are of highest intensity measuring 8.7 and 8.2 respectively on the Richter scale and have spread ocean waves as well as fear waves in the minds of the people of almost 28 countries, as many world-wide weather and climate warning agencies have warned of a possible tsunami attack in most of the coastal areas of these neighboring countries.

Videos of people swallowed by huge ocean waves in Indonesia are visible on most TV channels and scenes of panic common people running hither to wither are also creating sympathy and concern among the people all over the world.

Mild to moderate tremors were felt in many countries including India this afternoon. In many Indian cities panic stricken people ran out of their apartments and multistoried buildings as the buildings began to tremble.

No loss of life or property is reported in any part of India yet. Many TV channels are repeatedly showing the expected time of a possible tsunami hit in the coastal towns and cities of Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Alleppy in Kerala, Chennai, Thuthukkudy and Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Sreekakulam in Andhra Pradesh.

How ever the tsunami warning centers and the weather reporting agencies of India are of mixed opinions on whether India has tsunami threat or not....!
