Who will be the next President of India...?

As the by polls are conducted as scheduled and the Election Commission announcing the election of the President of India, all the National and regional parties are lobbying around to make the candidate of their choice to see as the thirteenth President of India.

There has never been an unhealthy campaigning and lobbying for the highest executive post of the President in the past. As n leading party is capable of choosing the candidate of its chioce for want of sufficient votes, it is imperative for all the parties to get the support of other parties.

Pranab Mukherjee Presents the Union Budget 2012-13 successfully...

Union Minister for finance, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, who is also considered as one of the few visionaries who have played successfully in shaping India's budgets and her economy, has once again presented the union budget for the year 2012-2013 amid noisy protests and uproars from the opposition parties.

Pranab Mukherjee too along with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and some others in the UPA II Government share an important role in bringing India on the fourth place in growth according to the recent ranking by IMF yesterday. India's economical growth overtaking many world powers and developed countries and in the global level reaching the fourth place is not an ordinary affair.

Presenting the union budget in a critical situation when the political future of the UPA 2 government is in a great dilemma, with some of its alleys specially the Trinamul Congress Party chief Mamata Banerjee outwardly and intentionally defying the understanding of the alliance and putting the government under pressure, is not an easy task.

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee's immature announcement of disqualifying and calling back the Railway minister Dinesh Trivedi immediately after presenting the Railway budget for 2012-2013 have surprised the entire nation yesterday. People of the country wondered whether she had the power to declare the announcement of the disqualification of a Union cabinet minister, constitutionally appointed by the Prime Minister.

As usual in India, this budget too is welcomed by some and opposed by some others basing political and personal lines. How ever it is anticipated as a budget fitting the political and other conditions of not only India, but also the whole world.

Please add your opinion on the union budget 2012-2013

The lessons to learn from the Indian Assembly Elections, 2012. Is Rahul Gandhi Responsible for the defeat...?

Now the assembly Elections for the five Indian states are over and their results are also officially declared. In all the cases, the real results were very much a surprise for both the winners and the losers....! All the exit poll and post poll surveys and opinions were proven to be wrong...! The mandate of the voters were beyond the expectations of any party or the contestants...!

Though Mr Rahul Gandhi accepted responsibility for the poor performance of the Congress Party in UP, for which he campaigned and traveled day and night extensively for many months, forgoing food and sleep, he is not at all to be blamed for the poor show of the grand old party in UP.

In-fact political analysts, think-tanks and observers feel and believe that it is only because of the effort of Mr Rahul Gandhi, Congress could improve its number of seats in UP in the just concluded election, than the number won in 2007...! Had Rahul not entered in the campaign and worked as he did, Congress would have got no seats in UP....!

There are many factors that distanced the voters of the states with the oldest political party which they were adopting for many years. May be the dirty 'caste feeling' also have played some role. The different statements made by different Congress leaders have surely harmed the party. The open challenge declared by Central Minister Mr Salman Khurshid on the Chief Election Commission may also have injured the party, no doubt...!

The frequently breaking relationships of the UPA's alliance parties, like Mamata Banerjee's TMC and Sharad Pawars's NCP with the Congress party, has also vexed a section of the voters to some extend, which is also a major reason for the great fall of the grand old party of India...!

Congress voters in the country are not in a mood to accept the 'responsibility' of Mr Rahul Gandhi or are not ready to digest if anyone blames him responsible for the defeat of the party in the Assembly Elections 2012.
