Kerala's DGP ranked officer Dr. Jacob Thomas IPS today officially announced the formation of a new Organization named Excel Kerala which is mainly aimed at reaching good governance, development and zero corruption in Kerala state. It also aims to achieve human rights, gender equality, peace and non-violence etc.

Many prominent personalities of Kerala from different walks of life, have also joined the movement which is said to be non-political. The names of the founding members of the organization are listed in the website of Excel-Kerala. They include, film directors Sathyan Anthicad and Lal Jose, actor Sreenivasan, popular RTI activist Adv D B Binu, noted writers Zacharia and Balachandran Chullikkadu, Santhosh George Kulangara of Sancharam fame, Journalist Arun Kumar, social worker sreedhanya Rishikesh, Prof M N Karassery and many others.

The excel Kerala web portal has an online open forum where people can register and join the discussions and exchange information. The posts of the affected are debated and follow-up actions are to be taken.

The author of this new initiative Dr Jacob Thomas was voted as the 'News Maker of 2015' by Kerala's leading news media and is a peck in the eyes of the UDF government by Team Oomman Chandy facing serious corruption allegations. As a result of his repeated disobedience to the government orders, he was transferred to different positions very often. There is also an allegation against him of receiving huge salary for his work rendered to some private institutions being in Government service..!!

Corruption (bribery) which has become an enormous giant is growing day-by day in India and it is an Himalayan task to eliminate it. However people are putting all their hopes on any person or effort who strives to control it and are very glad to extend every support. May such endeavours become successful and achieve the goals.

DGP Senkumar on PM Modi's Kollam visit following Temple Fire Tragedy

The recent fire tragedy that occurred in the Puttingal temple at Paravur near Kollam in Kerala on April 10, 2016 was very disastrous and unfortunate. This sad incident that claimed more than 120 lives and made hundreds seriously injured shook not only the nooks and corners of the country but the whole world itself. Many world leaders ranging from Russian president Putin to Pope Francis expressed their deep grief and sent messages of condolences to all the affected persons.

Most of such calamities occur due to the negligence and carelessness of people who are connected with them. Many disastrous accidents in our country have claimed a number of precious lives. While we cannot do much to reduce natural and unpredictable calamities such as earth quakes or tsunamis, it is very unfortunate that neither our system nor our leaders do not open their eyes and act accordingly to prevent major man-made accidents in future. We are always taking it for granted when nothing happens adversely despite being careless and negligent in discharging our legitimate duties with no dedication or devotion.

If hundreds of people are killed and injured because of one drunken driver of a bus or train, whose fault it is? If drivers of public transports who are holding the lives of many in their hands, fall asleep, who should be blamed for the unfortunate results?

Now, coming to today's latest news, Kerala DGP Senkumar has made a statement today which has become a sensational topic in the political circles and people's views. While giving and interview to The Indian Express he said that he had objected the plan of the PM Modi (and the Cong vice-president Rahul Gandhi) to visit the the accident spot within hours of the tragedy, and had informed the SPG (who are incharge of the Prime Minister's security and visits) to postpone the PM's visit for the next day as the PM's visit would hamper the rescue and relief operations which were being done. Most of the people are backing the courage the DGP has shown to say things even to the PMO's office.

As it is election time in Kerala, political parties will have special agendas and they may think that their visits may give them some mileage. But it is well known (well experienced) that any VIP who is having and needs special security must stay away from the sites of calamities, as giving them special protection will greatly affect the relief activities. Rescue and Relief activities are normally taken up not only by the police or other departments, but also by the public who often respond voluntarily and spontaneously with a selfless mind. Visits of people like Narendra Modi will keep away all these personnel and people and will be a hurdle for the relief works.

It will be ok if VVIPs remain in their places of comfort and 'express their shocks'. If they want they can engage their men and machineries to extend aid and support to the victims. Their personal visits will do 'NO' good to anyone who is suffering, but to some people belonging to thier parties. Their visits may only hinder the services of those people who are engaged in helping them. So, the visits of VIPs who need or have huge security for their personal protection, will do more bad than good.

Hence the majority of the people are supporting the stand of the Kerala DGP who is considered as a honest and people-friendly officer. If anyone (whether leaders or officials) wants to prevent such incidents in future, let their eyes become sighted and vigilant.

Kerala's wicked prostitute Saritha S Nair and the media's cheap coverage

Kerala's infamous whore Saritha S Nair's letter, murderer Biju Radhakrishnan's CD, Some political chameleon's changing statements and some Kerala Media's shameful support and undue coverage to these criminals:

There are many women engaged in prostitution in India. While many of them who have ended up in this profession unknowingly, continue in this field for winning bread or making a living. These poor people are often harassed by the police and other departments for getting a share of their earnings, some 'five star' whores who have high connections and top influence dictate terms, as many of the law makers and law implementing persons are their valued clients.

But these people have a common code of conduct and they usually never reveal the identity of their customers who are 'gentle men' during the day. Nor do they find pleasure in exposing that they are prostitutes.

But in Kerala, a shameless prostitute without any such ethics and a fraud who had intentionally cheated a number of people, by name Saritha S Nair had emerged as a star, thanks to the unstinting support of some media and journalists who even do not have any ethics or values and whose only aim is to pull down the government somehow. Some political leaders also have been making changing statements depending upon the situations.

According to people's opinion, it is quite unfortunate for the media and the press which is known as the 'forth estate' to give undue publicity for this shameless fraudster and blackmailing whore (who had earlier run a brothel racket) and project her as a celebrity. Even many concerned people are opposing the film maker for making her act in his upcoming movie and make her a star.

Why people are calling sarita s nair as a black-mailing prostitute?

Even a small child can easily find the differences in her recently released letter and her earlier statements and term it a 'fabricated' conspiracy. The so called letter which was written in 2013 mention that many ministers and VIPs including the CM have 'raped' her!

If she was raped three years ago, why she never reported / complained about it until now?

How can a free woman (who moved at her free will) be raped by several people at different occasions on different times?

In her tv and press reports last year, she had repeatedly stated several times, that the Chief Minister is like a father figure for her.

The recent statement of saritha s nairs' former lawyer Fenny Balakrishnan that the revealed letter is not real and former minister K B Ganesh kumar (who lost his minister post following the complaint of his wife about his domestic violence) is behind the fresh allegations to topple the present UDF government headed by Oommen Chandy.

The opposition leader V S Achuthanandan and many political leaders including P C George have publicly termed her as a big cheat, fraudster and dirty prostitute and challenged her to take action against them.

It is very silly and mean for the same opposition leader V S Achuthanandan to support her, expecting cheap political mileage. People are of the opinion that such statements will only affect his image and make him a joker. More over such remarks and allegations will create some sympathy for the chief minister Oommen Chandy who is projected as a champion of corruptions.

Earlier the Solar Commission, the police and the Kerala media were greatly ridiculed and criticised by all for believing the duping words of murderer and cheat Biju Radhakrishnan (who is in the jail) with regard to some CD which does not exist.

Media and the journalists who are called as the 'fourth estate' is the last resort of the people to check and correct the malfunctioning of the government or the officials. The media must act impartially as the people's voice. Even though the media may also have some stands and political inclinations, it should never deviate from the truth and support anything that is false and fake.

'Sell me the Answer', the reality game show on Asianet TV channel has started airing its 2nd season. Malayalam film actor Mukesh is anchoring the show as he did for the first season. Some new changes are made to the settings and the game pattern and terms and conditions remain the same. The inaugural show was played by Shwetha Mohan singer d/o playback singer Sujatha.

Another difference this time is that the anchor Mukesh is now a contestant for the ensuing elections for the Kerala Legislative Assembly. He is now contesting as an LDF candidate as a CPIM member from Kollam Assembly constituency. It is expected by the Asianet channel (which has some inclination towards the left parties) and the candidate that the show will give some publicity and extra mileage in the polls and increase his number of votes.

Actors Jagadish vs Ganesh Kumar in Pathanapuram Polls 2016

Popular Malayalam comedy actor P V Jagadish Kumar is contesting as a UDF (Cong) candidate against his film colleague K G Ganesh Kumar of LDF (KC-B) in the Pathanapuram Assembly constituency of Kollam District in the forthcoming Assembly elections 2016. Even though villain actor Bheeman Raghu also is in the race as a BJP candidate, people are found not much bothered about his candidature. However some people think that the BJP can influence the verdict by diverting some of the regular voters.

The popular question is who among the two film stars will win the Pathanapuram Assembly constituency which comes in the Mavelikkara Parliament constituency. This time the Pathanapuram Constituency Elections in Kerala, picked up momentum due to the switching of allegiance by Ganesh Kumar from the UDF to the LDF (even though he had earlier won on the UDF ticket).  While being an ally of the UDF and enjoying power as a minister, Ganesh's own father and the Kerala Congress (B) party president R Balakrishna Pillai had a number times demanded for the removal of his son from the cabinet for not being loyal and obedient to his father and the party and had announced his removal from the party several times.

P V Jagadeesh Kumar who is new to politics was earlier known as a Congress sympathizer. As per the opinion of people, he owns a clean image and neat character while compared to his opponent and it is expected that it may be an advantage for him to win more votes. On the other hand, K B Ganesh Kumar who won three times from the Pathanapuram seat as UDF candidate had been a minister also twice. Even though he is notorious for his weak character and his involvement in many cases, he is considered as an active worker and as a vibrant MLA he enjoys people's appreciation.

We need to wait till the elections are held and the votes are counted to know what is in the minds of the voters and whom the people prefer. Whether it is an experienced MLA without any policies or a fresh candidate with a clean image. More over the winning chances of the candidates will also depend to some extend the current political wave prevailing in the state favouring one of the three fronts...!

Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Best Healthcare Project in Kerala

The 'Believers Church Medical College Hospital' (BCMCH), a world-class Healthcare Project established by the Thiruvalla-based Religious and Charitable Organization 'the Believers Church' founded a year ago has developed in to a full fledged hospital and it is opined and voted by the common people as one of the 'Best' super speciality hospitals in Kerala with multi-speciality state-of-the-art facilities.

BCMCH has proved within a short period of time that it is different from the usual corporate hospitals that provide advanced treatments and dedicated services only in publicity and media advertisements. Thousands of patients who approached this hospital for treatments have expressed their satisfaction and happiness in the overall performance of the management, doctors, nurses and other staff of the hospital and in the way they were treated with compassion as expected from a missionary institution. The canteen is reportedly serving delicious food at reasonable rates.

According to the opinion of the people who visited here, the facilities provided by the hospital is excellent and one can find neatness and hygiene everywhere that indirectly tell that 'cleanliness is next to Godliness'. The 500-bedded hospital is equipped with advanced and modern technological machineries in accordance with that of any developed country. Thanks to the availability of the imported medical equipments, and the services of highly experienced and dedicated specialists and doctors, hereafter people of Kerala, particularly that in and around the central Travancore region need not take any-more the trouble and hardships of going to speciality hospitals that are located outside the state and abroad.

The Believers Church Medical College Hospital is the dream project of Metropolitan Bishop Dr K P Yohannan, who is the founder of the Independent Christian Church by name, 'Believers Church' in Thiruvalla of Kerala and now spread around the world. The Believers Church has been actively involved in rendering numerous social service activities like educational, medical, health care, community development programs, rehabilitation projects etc. in India and in other under-developed countries since its inception.

Metropolitan Bishop Dr K P Yohannan is the patron of the BCMC Hospital and its general manager is Rev Fr. Sijo Panthappallil. The hospital is also equipped with a vast team of devoted staff whose passion is to serve with love. They work selflessly under the able stewardship of chief operating officer Sunny Kuruvilla and its medical director Dr George Chandy (who served earlier as the medical director of the Christian Medical College, Vellore) who strive hard to push it to the top position in the healthcare field.
