Who will be the Next Prime Minister of India in 2019

As the time for the 2019 general elections in India is approaching fast, it has become the talk of the town and the most important matter of concern for the majority of population. People of not only India but also many other countries are closely watching the developments and waiting eagerly and anxiously for the outcome of Indian elections. The following are the common questions raised by the citizens of the country wherever they gather. Which political party will win more seats in the next general elections in 2019 and form the government in the center? Who will be the head of the next council of union ministers in Delhi? Who will be the next Prime Minister of India? Will it be Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi or a lucky person belonging to a less significant party supported by the united opposition?

India has witnessed many untoward incidents after Narendra Modi became the prime minister of India in 2014. The world has seen the law and order being handled by certain groups of people in India who belong to some right wing terrorist organizations of which even Narandra Modi was said to be an ardent member in the past. Many Indians feel that they have an actor prime minister who never acts sternly on these antisocial elements but often seen lamenting only during elections. Many concerned citizens of the country are of the opinion and are worried that the foundations of our constitution will be in great danger if things continue like this for some more time.

Many people are of the opinion that we have a government at the center that exists on self promotion and propaganda. People say that Narendra Modi came to power in 2014 by appointing several social media agencies that gave wide inflated and exaggerated coverage about Modi, Modi and Modi. As per the opinion of people, some corporate companies who got benefited greatly (or got assurance) from Modi's rule spent huge amounts for this social propaganda activities. Even senior leaders like Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, and many others of BJP and some alliance partners of the NDA like Shiv Sena, share the same feelings and opinions.

On the other side, the twosome Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, who are mocked and termed as "one-man show and two-man army" by none other than BJP's own M.P. Satrughan Sinha, are having overconfidence to turn things in their favor by hook or crook. They will use all their powers (and of the government departments) and resources to retain power in the center to accomplish their agenda which they could not complete fully, due to lack of majority in the upper house of the parliament and wide discontent from all quarters.

The incumbent Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi is well known for his intolerance and 'special skill' in cornering leaders and persons who hold different views or opinions. By using the machinery of the state, he keeps many opposition leaders' mouth shut. The number of journalists, writers, thinkers and bloggers killed during his rule is similar to that of some erstwhile dictators' rule.

There is a talk about the opposition unity in India. But it appears nearly possible to materialize as the heads of each party (whether big or small or with one M P or many) dreams big for the top seat. While Rahul Gandhi is the Congress Party's candidate for the prime ministers post, leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Mayavathy, Sharat Pawar, Chandra Babu Naidu, K Chandra Sekhara Rao, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, (and who not?) keep an eye on the top job. As Nitish Kumar who was a probable (more accepted) choice for the opposition's representative and to become the prime minister missed it by jumping over the other side.

Though it is not the right time to predict the outcome of the 2019 general elections, there is no wrong in guessing things, even though anything may happen anytime.

Malappuram Lok Sabha By-election April, 2017: Winner is...?

Unlike the elections conducted in other Constituencies of  India, Malappuram Lok Sabha by-poll scheduled for April 12, 2017 does not give much curiosity in the minds of the people to know its results. It is because, in the normal sense, the victory of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) candidate is sure and confirmed in this Muslim populated Parliament constituency.

The only matter of interest for the people is to know the margin of votes polled by the Muslim League candidate P K Kunjalikutty, whether it is more than that was bagged by his predecessor late MP, E Ahamed in the Lok Sabha polls held in 2015. Because the latter had made a stunning victory with a huge margin of 1.94 lakhs over the CPI(M) candidate P K Sainaba.

P K Kunhalikutty is the most popular face in the Muslim League Party (and the UDF) and it will be his desire (and a golden opportunity) to set a record margin in this elections to prove his popularity.

On the other side, CPI(M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and some other LDF leaders have stated that the outcome of this election will be an assessment of the LDF rule in the state under Pinaryi Vijayan. This statement will obviously necessitate them (even though they cannot dream a victory) to increase their candidate's Adv M B Faizal's vote share and to decrease the UDF candidate's votes bagged.

It is a matter of interest for those interested to know the number of votes collected by the BJP candidate Adv N Sreeprakash. If he can increase the number or percentage of votes, the credit will go to PM Modi and Amit Shah. If it happens to decrease, all the blame will fall upon poor Kummanam Rajasekharan.

Lets wait for two more weeks to know the exact picture.

Chennai RK Nagar By-election 12 April 2017: Who will win?

Filing Nominations for the by-election to the RK Nagar Assembly Constituency in Chennai commences today and ends on 23 instant. The Voting will be held on April 12 th and the results of the elections will be out on April 15.

RK Nagar was the constituency of late Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha. After her mysterious death recently (in which her criminal associate Sasikal's hand is suspected...) the ugly tug of war for the CM's post between Jaya's confidante maid Sasikala and faithful political alternative Panneer Selvam was witnessed by one and all. As the political wind and the governor's decision favored Sasikala's side, her nominee was made the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu before she went to the Prison in Karnataka to serve her term of imprisonment.

Now as the date for filing the nominations has come, once again the world is going to witness a lot of undemocratic incidents until the counting of the votes and announcement of the results on April 15.

So far Sasikala's side AIADMK is fielding her nephew Dinakaran (who was expelled by Jayalalitha in 2011) and DMK has declared Maruthu Ganesh as their candidates. Jayalalitha's niece Deepa Jayakumar has already announced her decision to contest and started campaigning in the constituency. Now people are eagerly waiting to see what the powerful (and cunning) BJP is going to do to utilize this favorable situation! Because that party has been proving its capability to 'divide and win' policy in the country.

Whatever the outcome of the elections, it is expected that money and freebies will flow in the constituency. Because As Sasiakala's candidate was expelled by Jayalalitha from the party, the people of RK Nagar may not accept Dinakaran easily. But Sasikala's camp also will not accept the fact and give up easily, but will do what ever possible, even move the mountains, to secure a victory!

Who will win? You are welcome to guess!

Indian Assembly Elections 2017: Exit Polls Results

Elections to the 5 states Assemblies including the crucial UP state concluded yesterday in many lengthy phases. As the political situations not only in the country but throughout the world are changing rapidly, elections are a matter of do or die. Democracy is being murdered by the political parties and the so called leaders. Elections now-a-days are proving that 'might is right'. People are losing hope in the system. Whether people are interested or not, the politicians and the so called leaders want to win any elections as power is their breath of life!

Tough not all, there are many people (mostly political activists and their sympathizers) who are waiting eagerly to know the outcome of the elections held in a prolonged manner. Though the actual and final results can be known on Saturday, 11th March, to quench their curiosity to some extend, they watch the exit poll predictions conducted by various agencies. But ironically most of the claims of the exit poll companies are proven to be wrong when the past exit poll results are analysed closely.

However lets have a look at the different Exit Poll (Opinion poll) results below:

As all the exit polls predicted the victory of BJP in all the four states viz except Punjab, it is not felt necessary to list in detail here.

Actors Jagadish vs Ganesh Kumar in Pathanapuram Polls 2016

Popular Malayalam comedy actor P V Jagadish Kumar is contesting as a UDF (Cong) candidate against his film colleague K G Ganesh Kumar of LDF (KC-B) in the Pathanapuram Assembly constituency of Kollam District in the forthcoming Assembly elections 2016. Even though villain actor Bheeman Raghu also is in the race as a BJP candidate, people are found not much bothered about his candidature. However some people think that the BJP can influence the verdict by diverting some of the regular voters.

The popular question is who among the two film stars will win the Pathanapuram Assembly constituency which comes in the Mavelikkara Parliament constituency. This time the Pathanapuram Constituency Elections in Kerala, picked up momentum due to the switching of allegiance by Ganesh Kumar from the UDF to the LDF (even though he had earlier won on the UDF ticket).  While being an ally of the UDF and enjoying power as a minister, Ganesh's own father and the Kerala Congress (B) party president R Balakrishna Pillai had a number times demanded for the removal of his son from the cabinet for not being loyal and obedient to his father and the party and had announced his removal from the party several times.

P V Jagadeesh Kumar who is new to politics was earlier known as a Congress sympathizer. As per the opinion of people, he owns a clean image and neat character while compared to his opponent and it is expected that it may be an advantage for him to win more votes. On the other hand, K B Ganesh Kumar who won three times from the Pathanapuram seat as UDF candidate had been a minister also twice. Even though he is notorious for his weak character and his involvement in many cases, he is considered as an active worker and as a vibrant MLA he enjoys people's appreciation.

We need to wait till the elections are held and the votes are counted to know what is in the minds of the voters and whom the people prefer. Whether it is an experienced MLA without any policies or a fresh candidate with a clean image. More over the winning chances of the candidates will also depend to some extend the current political wave prevailing in the state favouring one of the three fronts...!

Who will Be the Next Prime Minister of India? Rahul Gandhi v/s Narendra Modi...!

Rahul v/s Modi
Though the Official announcement for the General Elections 2014 is not made yet, All the Political Parties big and small alike are making preparations for seeking the People's Mandate and trying for a chance to rule the country for another five years.

The leading Alliances at the fore-front are the Congress led United Progessive Alliance (UPA) and the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Though all regional parties have a desire to form another alliance to get the power in Delhi like the third front or forth front etc, it seems like a proposal which will never materialize as each party's head wants the top job - the Prime Minister Post which the others cannot easily give up...!

Though the majority of Indians belong to the Hindu Religion, most of these people want to live and lead a life in harmony with the others belonging to other Religions. Only a very few people of India are hatching strong Communal feelings and develop and spread hatred among other communities.

There are some (now-a-days most) Political Parties in India, trying to cashout from these religious and communal divercity India alone proudly possess in the world. Though some people are aware of these politicians' intentions and keep away from them, there is a good number of innocent people who will easily fall as a victim to their baits.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is the BJP's Prime Ministerial Candidate and Congress Party vice President Rahul Gandhi are the main contenders for the Prime Minister's throne in the coming General Elections.

While Rahul Gandhi who is considered as a clean and amicable persanality is fully fit for the top post, but he is forced to carry all the loads of financial and other scams / controvercies / accusations his predessors have earned from the people during their present term.

On the other hand, Gujarat C.M. Narendra Modi, who publicised a lot of his own government and earned a lot of praises, counts upon the caste and religious card for gaining maximum number of votes under the BJP's banner.

Who will be the next Priminister of India- has emerged as the big question among the people.

Shasi Tharoor v/s Narendra modi (BJP) battle of words continue...!

In reply to the comments by Shashi Tharoor to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra modi, critiscising that 'Modi doesn't have a heart to love, and only people who love others will know the value of love', BJP spokes person Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has commented that the Government of India must constitute a new new ministry by name 'Love afairs Ministry' and make Shashi Tharoor as its minister.

In reply to this Shash Tharoor shot back, 'It is better to have 'love affairs ministry' than to have 'hatred affairs ministry'...!

Narendra Modi, who is expecting a sure victory in Gujarat in the forth coming assembly elections despite his anti-minority activities and massacres of innocent people in the Gujarat riots, only because of the Congress Party's inefficience to deal with his BJP there.

Had the Congress party given a free and fair governance in the center, taking a stern step against corruption, most of the communal parties would have gone to history....!

P A Sangma is next Indian President...? What is your Opinion? Please add here.

P A Sangma
The proposal by Tamil Nadu chief Minister M.Jayalalitha and Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik have come forward in support of former Loksabha Speaker and popular tribal leader hailing from the North Eastern region of India, P A Sangma.

PA Sangama who is the co-founder of the Nationalist congress party (NCP) formed by Union cabinet Minister Sharad Pawar is considered as a person well-versed on Indian Constitution and have vast knowledge and experience in the Indian Parliamentary system.

But the motive of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jaya Lalitha is is said to have hidden intentions in projecting a candidate for the presidential poll. Some political analysts opine that in campaigning for P.A Sangma for the presidential post, she in turn expects him to give her priority and preference, in the event of a hung parliament after the next general elections that is to be held in 2014 but may be conducted early...!

The too obedient and bending postures of P.A Sangma before those political party leaders whom he is begging for support for his presidential candidacy is felt by some people as a disgrace to the top post of the country though they opine that he is eligible to be the president...! In the past no presidential candidates have begged the political leaders like this to vote for him/her, though they may have tried to some extend to adorn the royal throne.

Please Add your opinions / comments / views / thoughts ... Thanks

Anna Hazare given NDTV Indian of the Year award...!

There is no doubt about the popularity Anna Hazare got when he started his struggle for bringing a corruption free India. Scores of people form all walks of life offered him unconditional support. In a short period of time Anna Hazare became a people's crusader and everyone's leader. He was compared to Mahatma Gandhiji and affectionately called as modern Gandhi and a man of secularism.

Today Anna hazare was chosen as an Indian of the Year by popular English News TV channel of India, NDTV. Not all people of India are happy with this news as Anna, who showed no political or communal links then, has started showing some soft-corner with a communal political party of India BJP recently.

This has caused a lot of concern in the minds of people who really love democracy and secularism and they have started to realize the hidden agenda in Hazare to please a sect of people of a particular religion.

Some people hence strongly feel that Anna cannot be considered as a true secular person and he is not eligible to receive such an honor from an organization like NDTV, led by a real democrat and visionary, Prannoy Roy...!

What is your opinion and comment...?
