Who will win Thrikkakkara Assembly Bypoll 2022? UDF vs LDF vs NDA vs 4th Front

The Thrikkakkara Assembly constituency in Ernakulam district that fell vacant following the demise of its elected member P T Thomas is gearing up for the by-election shortly. There are rumours in the air that the bypoll to the Thrikkakkara Assembly constituency will be held in May 2022. A notification in this regard is expected to be announced by the Election Commission of India soon.

All the leading political fronts viz UDF, LDF, and NDA in Kerala have already begun talks about fielding the best candidates for this contest. There are several valuable reasons for the UDF particularly the Congress party to win and retain the Thrikkakara Assembly constituency in the 2022 bypolls.

1. The constituency was being held by P T Thomas who was a senior Congress leader.

2. This is the first election after K Sudhakaran and V D Satheesan took charge as KPCC President and opposition leader respectively.

3. Most of the people of Kerala (including LDF sympathizers) have started ditching the LDF for its increased corruption, inability to curb crimes, and anti-people projects such as the k-rail silver line.

If the LDF fails to make a victory in this election, it is a big blow to the Pinarayi Vijayan government in Kerala as it may be treated as a litmus test for the 2nd Pinarayi government.

It is a time for the BJP also to know whether its image and popularity increased or decreased among the people, particularly the Christian voters in the state.

And another powerful front is expected to emerge in Kerala with this election. It is the alliance of 'Twenty20-Aam Admi-OIOP' parties. Most of the common people are vexed by the corrupt attitude and adjustment politics of all the three fronts. If the fourth front wins this seat it will be the clear indication of the advent of a new era in Kerala and a positive sign for the next Assembly elections also.

Please participate in the online prepoll survey conducted about the Thrikkakara Assembly bypolls 2022 to know the mind of the voters in Kerala.

General Elections 2019 Commenced, Who will rule India next?

As elections to the 17th Indian Parliament officially starts today with first phase of voting to the 91 lok sabha constituencies, anxiety, distress and fear are gripping the majority of the countrymen who are economically, socially and politically concerned. Which party will win more number of seats and who will become the next prime minister of India? The rapid heart beat of most Indians were loud and audible like drum sound during the past 5 years when the great constitution and all the institutions of India were in a highly dangerous situation and the mother India was helplessly weeping under the dictatorship of Narendra Modi - Amit Shah trio.

The present free India is the result of the great sacrifices made by many great selfless souls. Numerous people across the length and breadth of the country had given up their comfort, property, valuables and even lives for the sake of the country and its people. They belonged to different religions and castes. They hailed from different regions of the land. Even some foreigners contributed greatly in India's freedom struggle by participating, guiding and backing our fights for independence.

The free India in 1947 was not in the present state. There were many monstrous challenges in front of infant India. But thanks to the efficiency, sincerity, dedication and honesty of our great former heroes, the country could solve all the problems one by one and emerge as one of the most developed super powers of the world. Today India - the largest democracy in the world - is second to none in most fields. All the former prime ministers and their governments until 2014 deserve heartfelt gratitude and respect for their valuable contributions from each and every person who loves the country.

But the BJP government that formed in 2014 with huge promises with Narendra Modi as the prime minister, has proved as a disastrous one for the country and utterly disappointed the people of the country. As Modi had a different agenda to fulfill at the cost of the country's future, many of his implementations affected the country adversely. However Modi repeatedly claimed and widely advertised that the present development of the country is a result of his personal work even though the fact is that it is the fruit of the efforts of the previous visionaries.

Modi's rule in India is considered by most people as a dark age. Modi is accused of trying to make India 'a Republic of hate'. Modi is termed as a 'prime minister of intolerance' by the international community.

India's prime minister Narendra Modi is a talented demagogue who can deliver attractive speeches and easily deceive and manipulate innocent people. His special 'selling' skill is applied in false self promotion and mean publicity. There are apparently a group of big sharks behind him (who are hugely benefited by his monstrous scams) to run his publicity campaigns.

Even though the majority of people in the country are against Modi's BJP coming to power again, people are of the opinion that Modi and group will exploit the present political situation prevailing in the country and use all their resources to regain power. The world has been witnessing how Modi is using all the top institutions in India to scare and make his criticizers shut their mouths. People believe that Narendra Modi has been blackmailing even top autonomous institutions and even the judiciary to act in his favor. Moreover Modi and Amith Shah have a special skill to buy MPs at huge price or secure them by hook or crook in the event of winning less seats. Narendra Modi also knows well that he will have to pay heavily for all his wrong-doings and hidden scams if some other party forms government in 2019.

So people are of the opinion that Modi only will become the prime minister again in 2019 as he is a master in exploiting and manipulating things...!

Indian Assembly Elections 2017: Exit Polls Results

Elections to the 5 states Assemblies including the crucial UP state concluded yesterday in many lengthy phases. As the political situations not only in the country but throughout the world are changing rapidly, elections are a matter of do or die. Democracy is being murdered by the political parties and the so called leaders. Elections now-a-days are proving that 'might is right'. People are losing hope in the system. Whether people are interested or not, the politicians and the so called leaders want to win any elections as power is their breath of life!

Tough not all, there are many people (mostly political activists and their sympathizers) who are waiting eagerly to know the outcome of the elections held in a prolonged manner. Though the actual and final results can be known on Saturday, 11th March, to quench their curiosity to some extend, they watch the exit poll predictions conducted by various agencies. But ironically most of the claims of the exit poll companies are proven to be wrong when the past exit poll results are analysed closely.

However lets have a look at the different Exit Poll (Opinion poll) results below:

As all the exit polls predicted the victory of BJP in all the four states viz except Punjab, it is not felt necessary to list in detail here.

Kerala / Tamil Nadu / Puducherry 2016 Election Exit Poll RESULTS

And finally the judgement day is over after a long battle of around 2 months! As the beautiful term 'democracy' is being given a dirty meaning by the selfish and cruel politicians, every elections are literally seeing the murder of democracy for the benefits of these politicians. As a result of this, every elections are taking an ugly face. And the situation will be worse in the polls to come in future. As the formation of some fronts were done against values and principals, people are struggling hard to suppress their eagerness to know who all will win and who all will lose. Unlike the earlier elections, the government in the center is also keen to find whether the so called 'Modi wave' (which was projected 2 years ago) is still prevailing in the Indian states.

All the candidates who contested and the political parties reiterated the same statements which they have been making from the first day of their campaigning that they will win and their parties will form the governments. If the words of the leaders are to be taken seriously, there will be many governments in every state like Kerala and Tamil Nadu. All UDF Leaders (except disloyal congress leader C N Balakrishnan) very strongly stated that the UDF government in Kerala will have a continuation of government, while all the LDF leaders stated that the there is a strong wave favouring the LDF. All the third front NDA leaders also expressed similar positive opinions.

The same statements were witnessed in Tamil Nadu state also. While CM Jayalalithaa said that the AIADMK will secure majority to form government, the DMK front also said similar statement that they will win more seats to form the next government in Tamil Nadu.

US Presidential Election 2012: Barack Obama vs Mitt Romney: Who will be the Next (45th) US President ...?

The world is keenly and anxiously watching towards the US presidential elections 2012 to be held in less than two weeks from now. The two presidential candidates, sitting Democrats president Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney are left in the fray for the final fight. All the open debates have ended with one held in Florida on Tuesday with neither of the Candidates winning a knock-out punch ...!

Though opinion polls give little weightage to president Obama, Mitt Romney's side also are of the opinion of a marginal victory. Hence neck to neck fight is sure. The results of Opinion polls may not (need not) be exact hence still there is a mixed response in the probable out come of the prestigious presidential election 2012.

Any how within two weeks time there will be an end to all the anxiety and America will have the 45th President elected.

Best wishes to the New (45th) President of the US in advance...! (Barack Obama or Mitt Romney???)

Piravom by election: Heavy polling - about 40 (latest) percent voted by 10.30 am on March 17th, Saturday -2012.

The much anticipated Piravom by polls have started as scheduled on Saturday, 17th March 2012. People have come out in large numbers to exercise their franchise. In a surprising move about 40 percent of voters have cast their votes in support of their parties by 10.30 am itself. The 1.85 lakh voters of the legislative assembly constituency will decide who their MLA would be today...!

As a positive sign of people's interest in the by-election with large publicity and considered as a matter of prestige and of-course a must to win for the fronts, most of the voters of the constituency have voted in the morning itself.

Though both the main contestants are optimistic about their victory, only one party will be declared as winners on the day of counting of votes on March 21st. Even though many companies who conduct exit poll surveys and post poll surveys, the actual out come can be determined only after the counting of votes. Malayalees around the world are anxiously awaiting to see the result of Piravam by-polls, as it may have some direct or indirect impact on the UDF Government which came into power less than a year ago with very least margin.

Though many people consider that the out come of this election will be a verdict for the good and fair governance of the Oomman Chandy government in Kerala, however there is huge stress among the political leaders as no one can predict the mind of the people. The lesson all learnt from the recent Assembly elections held in five states.
