Asianet News - C FORE Kerala Pre-Poll Survey Results 2021

2021 Kerala Assembly Election dates are not yet declared. But all political parties are trying various strategies to secure maximum seats in the polls and grab power. Even though the ruling LDF government is plunged in neck-deep corruptions, inefficiency and all sorts of malpractices, C M Pinarayi Vijayan and team seem to be very confident of getting comfortable seats to rule Kerala state once again.

At the same time, for the Congress led UDF, it is a life and death game. If they fail to win maximum seats and form the government this time, it will be a fatal blow not only to the Indian National Congress party, but to all the parties in the front that may even affect their survival.

And for the BJP, it is a golden chance to fish from the muddy water and to put a solid political base by winning some seats in Kerala. BJP's advancement in Kerala is considered as a dangerous move for the minorities particularly the Muslims.

There are also news and speculations about the 'secret deal' between the CPI(M) and the BJP to help one another to destroy the Congress party completely.

The entry of new popular political parties like 'Twenty20 party' and 'One India One Pension' (OIOP) will be a threat to all the three fronts in this elections, particularly to the UDF.

Though nothing is predictable at the moment, everyone is eager to know the current trends and the latest survey results for a temporary relief.

The first pre poll survey is conducted by 'Asianet news and C Fore' with regard to the Kerala Assembly Election 2021. In this survey the verdict is in favour of the ruling Pinarayi Vijayan government. Here are the survey results in a nutshell.

* The survey predicts the possibility of LDF coming back to power with the advantage it may get in the Assembly segments of Southern Kerala.

* The 'free food kits' being supplied to all households and the hiked welfare pensions are the most liked schemes of this government.

* Majority of the people feel Pinarayi Vijayan as the most preferred candidate to be the Chief Minister with 39% votes, followed by Oommen Chandy with 18% votes. 9% of the survey participants preferred Shashi Tharoor as the CM candidates and 7% opted K K Sailaja. Only 6% of the participants voted for Ramesh Chennithala and 5% K Surendran.

* The survey predicts that BJP will not make any impressive improvement in this election as of now.

Who will be the Next Prime Minister of India in 2019

As the time for the 2019 general elections in India is approaching fast, it has become the talk of the town and the most important matter of concern for the majority of population. People of not only India but also many other countries are closely watching the developments and waiting eagerly and anxiously for the outcome of Indian elections. The following are the common questions raised by the citizens of the country wherever they gather. Which political party will win more seats in the next general elections in 2019 and form the government in the center? Who will be the head of the next council of union ministers in Delhi? Who will be the next Prime Minister of India? Will it be Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi or a lucky person belonging to a less significant party supported by the united opposition?

India has witnessed many untoward incidents after Narendra Modi became the prime minister of India in 2014. The world has seen the law and order being handled by certain groups of people in India who belong to some right wing terrorist organizations of which even Narandra Modi was said to be an ardent member in the past. Many Indians feel that they have an actor prime minister who never acts sternly on these antisocial elements but often seen lamenting only during elections. Many concerned citizens of the country are of the opinion and are worried that the foundations of our constitution will be in great danger if things continue like this for some more time.

Many people are of the opinion that we have a government at the center that exists on self promotion and propaganda. People say that Narendra Modi came to power in 2014 by appointing several social media agencies that gave wide inflated and exaggerated coverage about Modi, Modi and Modi. As per the opinion of people, some corporate companies who got benefited greatly (or got assurance) from Modi's rule spent huge amounts for this social propaganda activities. Even senior leaders like Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, and many others of BJP and some alliance partners of the NDA like Shiv Sena, share the same feelings and opinions.

On the other side, the twosome Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, who are mocked and termed as "one-man show and two-man army" by none other than BJP's own M.P. Satrughan Sinha, are having overconfidence to turn things in their favor by hook or crook. They will use all their powers (and of the government departments) and resources to retain power in the center to accomplish their agenda which they could not complete fully, due to lack of majority in the upper house of the parliament and wide discontent from all quarters.

The incumbent Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi is well known for his intolerance and 'special skill' in cornering leaders and persons who hold different views or opinions. By using the machinery of the state, he keeps many opposition leaders' mouth shut. The number of journalists, writers, thinkers and bloggers killed during his rule is similar to that of some erstwhile dictators' rule.

There is a talk about the opposition unity in India. But it appears nearly possible to materialize as the heads of each party (whether big or small or with one M P or many) dreams big for the top seat. While Rahul Gandhi is the Congress Party's candidate for the prime ministers post, leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Mayavathy, Sharat Pawar, Chandra Babu Naidu, K Chandra Sekhara Rao, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, (and who not?) keep an eye on the top job. As Nitish Kumar who was a probable (more accepted) choice for the opposition's representative and to become the prime minister missed it by jumping over the other side.

Though it is not the right time to predict the outcome of the 2019 general elections, there is no wrong in guessing things, even though anything may happen anytime.

Vengara by-election 2017. List of Candidates: The winner is...

As the countdown for the Vengara by elections scheduled  to be held on October 11 is nearing, all the parties concerned are holding hectic electioneering and making special strategies, as the political scene this time is bit different from the earlier ones. Vengara Assembly Constituency in Malappuram District of Kerala used to be one of the surest forts of Indian Union Muslim League which is the strongest part of the UDF. But this time as there is a rebel candidate for the IUML who claims to be capable of dividing the voter bank and defeating the official candidate.

The Final List of Contestants after the last date of withdrawal of Nominations:

1. K.N.A Khader (Muslim League) UDF

2. P.P. Basheer   LDF

3. K. Jayachandran  BJP

4. K.C Naseer   SDPI

5. K. Hamsa  IND

As it is a matter of prestige for the ruling LDF and the incumbent UDF to win the seat, it is the desire of the BJP also to increase their vote share to  understand the graph of their growth in Kerala.

Muslim League is also little worried of the rebels who dared to raise their voice against the leadership in choosing the candidate. If they happen to lose in Vengara, it will be too much for them and the UDF to bear!

The ultimate winner will be decided on the day of the counting of votes. Until the voting is completed anything can happen..!

There were differences of opinions between the 2 judges who announced the final list of selected candidates.

Some people are also of the opinion that the first list itself is substandard with the names of some people who were often highlighted by some news channels and media with their infamous acts.

Some others are of the opinion that if getting coverage in the news channel is the only criteria, even criminals (like Mohammed Nishanth and Rahul pasupalan) can be selected as the 'news maker' of Kerala and thus bring disgrace to the very noble initiative itself.

Yahoo's Survey Results April 18th, 2012: Mamata Banerjee has turned into a dictator ... 100% votes

Today's opinion poll on Yahoo's front page is 'Whether West bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is turning in to a dictator...?' The people's opinion (of Yahoo visitors) was enough for any one specially Mamata Banerjee to make a self examination 'whether she is fit to continue as the Chief Minister?'

As of 11.00 am on Wednesday, 18th the result was 100% opinion that she is becoming a dictator. In any opinion polls the people's opinions are generally mixed and differ in whole. The result of this poll was really amazing with no one voting against the statement.

All the people voted 'yes' to the statement which read 'Is Mamata Turning into a dictator?' Not even one person voted 'no' to the poll question in favor of Mamata Benerjee's arrogant and rude behavior with the people, her own departments, and even to the coalition front in which she is an important partner.

It is quite normal for anyone to note that Mamata Benerjee's most decisions are anti people, anti organizational and dictatorial.

It is noteworthy to post this opinion poll on the front page of yahoo India when Mamata Banerjee is quoted as world's 100 influential women by the popular TIME Magazine...! People are afraid that This news including West Bengal chief Minister Mamata Benerjee as one of the most 100 powerful women in the world would further increase her arrogance and make her more dictatorial in the days to come.
