Thrikkakara by polls 2022: List of Contesting Candidates.

Notification for the by-election to the Thrikkakara Assembly constituency in Ernakulam district has been declared by the Election commission of India recently. The voting is to take place on 2022 May 31st and the counting of votes will be done on June 3. As winning the Thrikkakkara seat is vital for the very existence of UDF, particularly the Congress party, they have announced the contesting candidate unanimously before the other parties.

If LDF candidate manages to make a victory, it will jeopardize the damages being inflicted by the ruling communist party in Kerala. The majority of the people are against the ruling LDF government that is stubbornly introducing antipeople policies and projects with the only aim of looting the state. Even though the LDF government led by pinarayi vijayan got a shining mandate in the 2021 elections, the government has proved that it is an utter failure in all aspects.

It is the need of the hour to give a fitting shock treatment to the arrogant government led by pinarayi vijayan. 

This time the winning chances of UDF candidate is less as the NDA has gained more strength in the recent past with a section of Christians supporting it.

The emergence of Aam Admi Party and the twenty20 party and other groups such as v4 kerala supporting them is a positive signal for the possibility for them to make a difference this time.

But there is also a risk by this that the neutral votes may scatter and this will help the LDF to make a narrow victory as most of the LDF sympathizers will cast their votes for that party only even if they are not happy with it!

2009 ൽ വിശ്വ ഹിന്ദു പരിഷത് ആഗോള ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി ആയിരുന്ന പ്രവീൺ തൊഗാഡിയ ത്യശൂരിൽ തുടക്കം കുറിച്ച 'ഹിന്ദു മഹാ സമ്മേളങ്ങൾ' പലതും കേരളത്തിൽ നടന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആ സമ്മേളനങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെയുള്ള ഹിന്ദു  മതസ്ഥരെ എല്ലാവരെയും ഏകോപിപ്പിച്ചു തങ്ങളുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ താല്പര്യങ്ങൾ നേടിയെടുക്കാനായി തീവ്ര ഹിന്ദുത്വ നിലപാടുകാരായ ചില നേതാക്കൾ നടത്തുന്ന സമ്മേളങ്ങളായി മാത്രം കരുതി മറ്റുള്ള ആരും തന്നെ (എല്ലാ ഹിന്ദു മതസ്ഥരാർ പോലും) അത് അത്ര കാര്യമായി എടുത്തില്ല.

എന്നാൽ ഏതാനും ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ് തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തു സംഘടിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട '2022 ഹിന്ദു മഹാ സമ്മേളനം' വലിയ ജന ശ്രദ്ധ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റുകയും ലോകം മുഴുവൻ ഒരു ചർച്ചാ വിഷയമായിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയുമാണ്. 

കേരളത്തിൽ അടുത്ത കുറെ കാലങ്ങളായി ഒരു വിഭാഗം തീവ്ര ഇസ്ലാമിസ്റ്റുകൾ ആസൂത്രിതമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ ചില ജിഹാദ് പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ കാരണം അമുസ്ലിംകളായ ഹിന്ദുക്കളും ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളും നിരവധി സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളിലും പീഡനങ്ങളിലും അകപ്പെട്ടു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. കേവല ന്യൂനപക്ഷമായ SDPI പോപ്പുലർ ഫ്രണ്ട് തുടങ്ങിയ ഏതാനും ഇസ്ലാമിസ്റുകളാണ് കൂടുതലായും ഈ സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രശനങ്ങൾക്കു പിന്നിലെന്ന് കരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നെങ്കിലും മുസ്ലിം ലീഗ് പോലുള്ള രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടികളോ സമസ്ത പോലുള്ള മുസ്ലിം സംഘടനകളോ ഇതുവരെ തീവ്രവാദത്തെ അപലപിച്ചു കണ്ടില്ല എന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല, അവരെ വാക്കാലും പ്രവർത്തിയിലും സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് കാണുമ്പോൾ ഇസ്ലാം മത വിശ്വാസികൾ എല്ലാവരിലും തന്നെ പ്രത്യക്ഷമായോ പരോക്ഷമായോ ഇവിടെ അവരുടെ മതപ്രകാരമുള്ള ഭരണം വരണമെന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതായി പൊതുജനം മനസിലാക്കുന്നു.    

ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മുസ്ലിം തീവ്രവാദികളാൽ പൊറുതിമുട്ടിക്കഴിയുന്ന ക്രൈസ്തവരിൽ ഒരുഭാഗവും, ഭാരതത്തിൽ ജനാധിപത്യം സുസ്ഥാപിതമാകണമെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തിൽ RSS പോലുള്ള ഹൈന്ദവ സംഘടനകളോട് ചേർന്ന് പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചതായി കാണുന്നു. അതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഇത്തവണത്തെ 'ഹിന്ദു മഹാ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ' ക്രൈസ്തവ സംഘടനയായ CASA യും അനേക ക്രൈസ്തവ വിശ്വാസികളും ഐക്യ ദാർഢ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു പങ്കെടുക്കുകയും പ്രസംഗിക്കുകയും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. 

ഈ സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ വീക്ഷിച്ച മുൻ MLA യും former സർക്കാർ ചീഫ്           

വിപ്പുമായ പി സി ജോർജ് അധിക ആവേശം കൊണ്ട് മുസ്ലിം സമുതായത്താൽ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്ന വിവിധതരം വിത്വംസക പ്രവർത്തികളെ വെളിച്ചത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരുകയും നിശിതമായി വിമർശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഈ പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ ക്ഷുപിതരായ മുസ്ലിംകളും ഇടതു വലതു നേതാക്കളും അദ്ദേഹത്തിനെതിരെ ആക്രമണത്തിനായി ഒന്നിക്കുമ്പോൾ കേരളത്തിലെ ബിജെപി യും RSS ഉം ചില ക്രൈസ്തവ സംഘടനകളും പ്രതിരോധം സൃഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നതായി കാണുന്നു. 

പി സി ജോർജിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ അല്പം മയമില്ലാത്തവയായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അത് ഇന്ന് കേരള സമൂഹത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന പച്ചയായ യാഥാർഥ്യങ്ങളാണെന്നു തുറന്നു സമ്മതിച്ചു അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു അനേകർ രംഗത്ത് വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.  പി സി ജോർജിനെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു വാനോളം പുകഴ്ത്തുന്ന  പ്രഖ്യാത ഹൈന്ദവ നേതാവും പ്രാസംഗികനും മുൻ സീനിയർ സയന്റിസ്റ്റുമായ Dr N ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണന്റെ വാക്കുകളാണ് മുകളിൽ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന വിഡിയോയിൽ!

അങ്ങനെ കേരളത്തിലെ എല്ലാ പത്രങ്ങളും ടി വി ചാനലുകളും പേരിനും പ്രശസ്തിക്കും വേണ്ടി പരസ്പരം മത്സരിക്കുമെങ്കിലും പണത്തിന്റെ മുൻപിൽ ഓച്ഛാനിച്ചു നിന്ന് ഏകപക്ഷീയമായ നിലപാടുകൾ എടുക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ ഒരേ മനസ്കരാണെന്നു ഒരിക്കൽ കൂടി തെളിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു!

Who will win Thrikkakkara Assembly Bypoll 2022? UDF vs LDF vs NDA vs 4th Front

The Thrikkakkara Assembly constituency in Ernakulam district that fell vacant following the demise of its elected member P T Thomas is gearing up for the by-election shortly. There are rumours in the air that the bypoll to the Thrikkakkara Assembly constituency will be held in May 2022. A notification in this regard is expected to be announced by the Election Commission of India soon.

All the leading political fronts viz UDF, LDF, and NDA in Kerala have already begun talks about fielding the best candidates for this contest. There are several valuable reasons for the UDF particularly the Congress party to win and retain the Thrikkakara Assembly constituency in the 2022 bypolls.

1. The constituency was being held by P T Thomas who was a senior Congress leader.

2. This is the first election after K Sudhakaran and V D Satheesan took charge as KPCC President and opposition leader respectively.

3. Most of the people of Kerala (including LDF sympathizers) have started ditching the LDF for its increased corruption, inability to curb crimes, and anti-people projects such as the k-rail silver line.

If the LDF fails to make a victory in this election, it is a big blow to the Pinarayi Vijayan government in Kerala as it may be treated as a litmus test for the 2nd Pinarayi government.

It is a time for the BJP also to know whether its image and popularity increased or decreased among the people, particularly the Christian voters in the state. 

And another powerful front is expected to emerge in Kerala with this election. It is the alliance of 'Twenty20-Aam Admi-OIOP' parties. Most of the common people are vexed by the corrupt attitude and adjustment politics of all the three fronts. If the fourth front wins this seat it will be the clear indication of the advent of a new era in Kerala and a positive sign for the next Assembly elections also.
