Latest hindu terrorists attack on Christian NUNS in train makes Christians ditch BJP

Among the different inhabitants of the earth, Christians are the meekest, most loving and most compassionate of all. But ridiculously, Christians are the most unfortunate humans being victimized and subjected to cruel racial attacks by some other communities around the world.

Though Christians number the largest Religious group in the world, as they practice what is taught by their Lord ie to forgive others' trespasses and to love even the enemies, they are looked down as the weakest and non-retaliating humans and the atrocities on them are on steep rise.

Ever since Narendra Modi became the prime minister of India, terrorism by a section of hindus grew very fast in India along with a new culture of hatred. Atrocities on minorities which was a rare incident in India until then, became a habitual routine with Modi's rule.

As moral attacks on Christians and discrepancy by some muslim leaders increased these days, some Christians in India particularly in Kerala were thinking of supporting the BJP party in the ensuing state elections thinking that they will do justice. But the shocking attack on four Catholic Nuns in train in Jhansi station in Uttar Pradesh by some bajrang dal activists has caused panic among the Christian community and many have decided to drop the idea of voting for the BJP candidates in the Assembly election 2021.

Please watch the video that has gone viral in which it is clearly visible how two Catholic Nuns and two postulants (undergoing training) belonging to the Sacred Heart Congregation were subjected to severe hardship by a group of miscreants claiming to be hindutwa activists in a state known as Uttar Pradesh, where there is no proper governance as per the constitution of India, but that of hooligans and goons.

Alphons Kannanthanam vs N Jayaraj vs Joseph Vazhackan fights for Kanjirappally. Who will win?

Another constituency in Kerala which is going to witness a tough triangular fight is Kanjirappally Assembly Constituency in Kottayam District. The main reason for this constituency to come to the limelight is that all the three candidates representing the three main political fronts viz NDA, LDF and UDF are popular leaders representing their parties and have proven their poll promises by showing through action.

For the people of Kanjirappally constituency it will be a hard task to choose one candidate from the three. Because even though some of them changed political equations for personal or party benefits, each of them are liked by the people as each contestant is having clean image, good reputation and wide circle in the mandalam.

Alphons Kannanthanam:

Positive: He served as an upright and efficient IAS officer. Contested as an LDF candidate from Kanjirappally earlier and defeated sitting UDF MLA N Jayaraj. Later joined BJP and served as a central minister. Worked exceptionally well for the overall development of the allocated portfolios. No charges of corruption or any negative allegations.

Negative: He contested and won in 2006 as an LDF backed candidate in the same constituency and is going to request people's mandate as an NDA candidate this time. The 100-day-long farmers' strike against the government's changed policies; sky rocketing of prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas and the wicked acts of the Modi-Amitshah government are a drawback for the people to cast their votes in his favour.

Dr N Jayaraj:

Positive: He is the sitting MLA of Kanjirappally who won on UDF ticket in 2016. Implemented many developmental activities. As party (KC-M) switched loyalty to LDF, he is forced to contest in LDF banner this time. He is known as a clean and accessible politician.

Negative: He was elected by the UDF voters of the constituency in 2016. As his party leader Jose K Mani (KC-M) switched loyalty and joined LDF, the voters seem to be angry with Jose which may affect his chances of success.

Joseph Vazhackan:

Positive: He is known as a loyal and dedicated Congress leader. While serving as a sitting MLA, he is also working as the vice-president of the Congress party in Kerala. He owns a very clear image and has a steady political and social outlook. He maintains a good and healthy rapport with all sections of the society. No allegations of any corruption or illegal activities.

Negative: All the drawbacks of the UDF (like groupism, delay in finalizing candidates, love-jihad, importance of muslim league in UDF etc) may affect this candidate also to some extend. Catholic community votes may be divided between the three as all of them maintain good relationship with the Church).

Conclusion: In the present condition, it is opined that UDF candidate Joseph Vazhackan will win Kanjirappally Assembly constituency this time probably on a narrow margin.

Hence this was a short test by the Congress High Command to identify the most popular and daring Congress Leader in Kerala who agreed to contest in Nemam Assembly constituency! And no doubt such a leader (whether it is K Muraleedharan or Shashi Tharoor) must be made the next Chief Minister of Kerala.

Smita Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (SMHRC) Thodupuzha, Kerala

The newly established super speciality hospital by name SMHRC (Smita Memorial Hospital and Research Centre) at Vengalloor near Thodupuzha in Kerala will definitely be be a great boon to the people living in the central Kerala region. Though the 350-bedded healthcare project founded by Mumbai based Padma Bhushan Dr Suresh Advani and his Malayali wife Geeta (formerly Rose) is a multi-speciality one, it has state of the art specialities particularly in oncology and cardiology departments.

As the founder of this hospital Dr Suresh Advani who is India's best known doctor for cancer treatment is also a famous humanitarian, the hospital is expected to run with a sympathetic approach for the poor. As the medical field is considered by most doctors these days as means to mint money, the public is afraid to go to a hospital. We have been witnessing how most hospitals in the country are exploiting the hapless patients in the pandemic times.

Dr (Prof) Suresh who has over 50 years of experience in oncology has treated more than 20 lakhs cancer patients and is regarded as the top oncologist in India. He is the first oncologist in India to conduct a bone marrow transplant surgery successfully.

As per the wishes of the founders, the hospital will not have any general ward for the poor patients. Instead 10% of the rooms (with modern facilities) will be allocated free of charge to patients hailing from economically backward backgrounds. This is aimed to reduce the disparities between the rich and the poor.

SMHRC is named after the couple's daughter Dr Smitha who met with an accident and died while doing her MD. The motto of this hospital is to 'smile and serve' which was the life philosophy of late Dr Smita in whose memory this hospital is established!

As the founders of this hospital are generous persons, the salary and other working conditions for the staff are also expected to be of high standards. As this is a new venture, a lot of manpower is required to carryon the visions of the founders. Dedicated and skilled doctors in all departments, nurses, pharmacists, administrative and managirial staff etc are being recruited in large numbers.

Asianet News - C FORE Kerala Pre-Poll Survey Results 2021

2021 Kerala Assembly Election dates are not yet declared. But all political parties are trying various strategies to secure maximum seats in the polls and grab power. Even though the ruling LDF government is plunged in neck-deep corruptions, inefficiency and all sorts of malpractices, C M Pinarayi Vijayan and team seem to be very confident of getting comfortable seats to rule Kerala state once again.

At the same time, for the Congress led UDF, it is a life and death game. If they fail to win maximum seats and form the government this time, it will be a fatal blow not only to the Indian National Congress party, but to all the parties in the front that may even affect their survival.

And for the BJP, it is a golden chance to fish from the muddy water and to put a solid political base by winning some seats in Kerala. BJP's advancement in Kerala is considered as a dangerous move for the minorities particularly the Muslims.

There are also news and speculations about the 'secret deal' between the CPI(M) and the BJP to help one another to destroy the Congress party completely.

The entry of new popular political parties like 'Twenty20 party' and 'One India One Pension' (OIOP) will be a threat to all the three fronts in this elections, particularly to the UDF.

Though nothing is predictable at the moment, everyone is eager to know the current trends and the latest survey results for a temporary relief.

The first pre poll survey is conducted by 'Asianet news and C Fore' with regard to the Kerala Assembly Election 2021. In this survey the verdict is in favour of the ruling Pinarayi Vijayan government. Here are the survey results in a nutshell.

* The survey predicts the possibility of LDF coming back to power with the advantage it may get in the Assembly segments of Southern Kerala.

* The 'free food kits' being supplied to all households and the hiked welfare pensions are the most liked schemes of this government.

* Majority of the people feel Pinarayi Vijayan as the most preferred candidate to be the Chief Minister with 39% votes, followed by Oommen Chandy with 18% votes. 9% of the survey participants preferred Shashi Tharoor as the CM candidates and 7% opted K K Sailaja. Only 6% of the participants voted for Ramesh Chennithala and 5% K Surendran.

* The survey predicts that BJP will not make any impressive improvement in this election as of now.
